Murals and paintings of greyhounds from 4,000 years ago are similar to today's greyhound, and were held in high regard by ancient Egyptians. Daytona Beach Kennel Club offers year-round entertainment. Established in the summer of 1948, Daytona Beach Kennel Club and Poker Room offers pari-mutuel wagering and poker room gaming seven days a week. Simulcast racing of greyhound, thoroughbred, harness, and Jai-Alai wagering from the most premier tracks in the country is available.

Derby Lane Racing and Poker Club in St. Petersburg opened in 1925 and is the oldest greyhound track in the country. This well maintained is one of the world's premier greyhound racetracks and their sand track is one of the fastest in the country. The facility offers both live and simulcast greyhound racing action. Coffee shops, lounges, and concession stands are located throughout the facility. Ebro Greyhound Park in Ebro in the Florida Panhandle has live greyhound racing from March until September. The facilities include two levels with a clubhouse, poker room, restaurant, snack bar, race track and retired greyhound adoption center.

Flagler Greyhound Track has been Miami's premiere greyhound racing facility for more than 50 years. It showcases some of the world's finest greyhounds as well as simulcast races of live horse and greyhound racing from around the world. Magic City casino is Miami's first and only casino to feature Las Vegas-style slot machines with 800 of the most popular machines as well as 18 poker tables for exciting tournaments and huge jackpots.

Hollywood Greyhound Track, aka, the Mardi Gras Casino is the premier greyhound racing venue in South Florida. It offers live greyhound racing seven days a week, plus simulcast greyhound, thoroughbred and harness racing from all the top tracks in North America. You'll also find 1,300 Vegas-style slot machines and 30 action-packed poker tables.

Jacksonville Kennel Club is composed of two racing facilities, the Orange Park Kennel Club and The Best Bet at St. Johns Greyhound Park. Live greyhound racing is found at the Orange Park Kennel Club all year round, which offers over 1,100 clubhouse seats, and there's room for 4,000 in the comfortable grandstand. The Best Bet has no live racing, but it does house The Poker Room on the second floor.

Jefferson County Kennel Club, in northern Jefferson County, is close to the Georgia state line and attracts fans from all over North Florida and South Georgia. Opened in 1959, it is one of the oldest running dog tracks in Florida. The club operates year round and offers a variety of simulcast events as well as fine dining in the Turf Club. The poker room is open Monday through Saturday from noon to midnight.

Melbourne Greyhound Park has live greyhound racing from January through March, but you can enjoy year-round simulcast thoroughbred horse racing, harness racing, and jai-alai from all the popular tracks and frontons around the country. Originally a Jai Alai Fronton in 1971, MGP was converted into a Greyhound Racing facility in 1990. In 2004, the park underwent a $4-million renovation, which included the addition of Club52, an 11,000-square foot Las Vegas-style poker room featuring 45 tables plus an exclusive V.I.P. room for private parties of 20 to 100.

Naples/ Ft. Myers Greyhound Track in Bonita Springs offers Greyhound racing during the winter and spring, plus year-round simulcast races from other tracks. The casino-style poker room offers a variety of poker games. Players can enjoy tableside beverage service and tableside massages, plus the new Hold'em Grill, conveniently located next to the Poker Room.

Palm Beach Kennel Club in West Palm Beach presents exciting year-round greyhound racing, simulcast action, a 60-table poker room, plus special events, fine and casual dining and much more. The club opened in 1932 and is one of the oldest and most competitive tracks in the country and has been the home of some of the best greyhounds in the history of the sport.

Sanford-Orlando Kennel Club in Casselberry, Seminole County opened in 1935 and offers exciting greyhound racing year-round, plus simulcast racing of greyhound, thoroughbred, Jai Alai, and harness racing from around the country, seven days a week. The Trackside restaurant has a great menu and concession stands with bars located throughout the grandstand.

Pensacola Greyhound Track offers high-speed and action-packed greyhound racing. The track is fully-enclosed and climate-controlled. It's Kennel Club, Lounge, and Grandstand offers an exciting view of the races, plus outdoor seats along the tracks for a close-up look at the thrill of the chase. Pensacola Greyhound Track also has live and instant replay television throughout the complex.

Sarasota Kennel Club is one of the oldest dog tracks in North America. The track opened in 1929 and features live greyhound racing six days a week, plus daily simulcasts. There are two restaurants and two clubhouse dining areas, and several concession stands throughout the facility.
