Free Trifecta System Tip - Spot This Perk to Win More at the Dog Track

Greyhound Dog Racing Tips.

Do you watch all the dogs in a race or replay, or only the dog or dogs you bet on? Well, one good reason to watch all 8 dogs is because you might notice something that tells you that a dog is a good bet in its next race. One of these things is what I call "the perk" factor.

Even though greyhounds are traveling around the track at very fast speeds, some of them are really pushing themselves and others are just loping along with the pack. It's the canine equivalent of going out for a Sunday ride, rather than driving in the Indy 500. They're going fast, but they're not giving it all they have.

This can happen for a number of reasons. Sometimes, they're just not interested. Other times, they have a minor injury that isn't evident to their trainer or the track vet and they're not able to really pour it on. They may have just been wormed, gotten an immunization or had a minor illness.

Usually, unless something major has happened to them, dogs who lack effort in a race will slowly improve until they're back in form. Once in a while though, this improvement is so noticeable, it only takes one race for it to be obvious. This is what I mean by "the perk" factor.

In these cases, you can actually see the dog perk up and get more aggressive and determined in the race. It doesn't run in the money, but it does better than it has been doing. It looks more alert and closes position and makes up ground. You can tell just by looking at it, that it's waking up.

If you can spot this in dogs, you have a big advantage over the people who only watch the dogs they bet or don't even watch the race at all. And there ARE people who don't watch the races they bet on. As crazy as it sounds, some people bet and then wait for the results to come up on the toteboard, while they go over another race or talk to their friends.

This is no way to make money on dogs, but it's a break for the smart punter who IS watching the races and the replays. Look for "perks" that are picks in your trifecta system, next time you're at the track. If you catch them before the crowd notices that they've "come alive", it can really put money in your pocket.
